I can't believe that already another year has zipped on by. Where does time go? The older I get the faster it goes! Right now I'm glad that time is going so quickly, as I have been hit hard with a nasty bout of bronchitis and I know that day by day I'm getting better, no thanks to copious amounts of vitamins, supplements, tea, water, soup, and the daily dose of medication from the doctor. It's a little pink pill called Zithromax.
Today I stayed in from church. Made soup with tiny French green lentils, lots of fresh garlic, yellow onion, a leftover jalapeno, and some diced carrots and tomatoes. It was delicious! I listened to a sermon by John Piper on a portion in Romans, one I'd downloaded a couple of months ago. I also knitted with my fuzzy red yarn, painted my watercolor calendar, and did some yoga, a few positions reportedly good for bronchitis and other respiratory ailments. One of them, called Anuloma Viloma, is a breathing exercise that supposedly stimulates the use of both the left and right sides of the brain. We'll see if that works!
Tomorrow I have an interview with a man that wants to hire me to work in his recently-opened spa. If all goes well I'll be working for him on Saturdays. I'm finally getting to work in the field I went to school for!
